Test dates need to be agreed with Andrew before these are booked, to ensure the car is available. The car will be charged for the duration of the test. You will need to bring your provisional driving licence with you to the test centre.
None – you can learn to tow a trailer as long as you have passed your driving test. An assessment can be carried out to estimate how long you may need.
The sessions will be booked to coincide with your B&E test date which will be mutually agreed between yourself and Andrew.
This will depend on which test centre you will be booked at. Driving and all the manoeuvres will be done in the local area to the test centre.
You will normally continue your training in the run up to your test slot, so please ensure you have your driving licence with you.
We cover most of the North West HGV test centres, which are Kirkham, Carlisle, Atherton (Manchester), Wrexham and Harlescott (Shrewsbury).
Yes all parts of your driving will be under examination on the test, which includes your driving style. Andrew will help you to identify areas which need to be improved in preparation for your test.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will need to be paid to secure your place on the trailer training, with the remainder being paid on completion. The cost does not include the test fee. You have the option to book the test yourself through https://www.gov.uk/book-driving-test or we can do it for you, but the cost will be added to your payment for the training. Payment can be made either through BACS or cash in advance.
